Danté crated the job title “Visual/Mixed Media Artist” because of the different art forms he combines to create an income for himself. He also created the “Stay Sexy” pattern which consists of different shades of red, hearts, kisses, lipsticks and feminine words.
Born in Harlem, NYC, Dantέ was exposed to art at an early age by his older cousin. This cousin was enrolled in art school and would teach Dantέ what he learned starting when Dantέ was just three years old. He was exposed to many forms of art across multiple media during his early years, and with that influence and guidance, Dantέ continued to pursue art throughout his life.
After graduating from Parkside High School in Salisbury, Maryland in 2003, he moved back to New York to attend the Pratt Institute School of Art and Design.
Dantè has exhibited his work at Gallery 69 in Tribeca, NYC and YGallery Salon in Soho, NYC, including some collaborations with TAKI 183.
